I am an older AA looking for my "last" horse. I need a kind, safe, sane, and easy going lower level dressage gelding (or mare if non-mareish). I would like something Training/First level competent with potential to do Second. I prefer correct, easy to ride gaits, a charming personality, not too sensitive or reactive, sound (reasonable age appropriate maintenance is o.k.), and healthy. Preferred size would be 15.2-16.3hh, can be aged...no green beans please. I Can offer a lifetime home for the right horse. Under $10K, no TBs please. I am looking for a horse 5-11 years old that has competed already and successfully at least at novice level eventing with competitive dressage scores that is moving up to training soon, and is safe on cross country. I dont need a complete schoolmaster, but something with experience. Preferably i would like to purchase a horse that is a preliminary packer and has potential for a one-star. To a perfect upper-level home to a young rider with the best care in Western, Pa. Lease Wanted - to an Excellent home! |

Looking for a free, or very close to, lease in the Midwest. Possibly further for the right horse for a long term lease situation. I have an absolutely wonderful barn to board at and this would be an excellent home (24/7 grass turnout in pasture when weather is nice, stall w/ fan for summer and stall for winter weather, indoor arena, supplements, equine massage, and of course lots of love) .
Looking for a horse with either dressage training or potential. Must be a non- spooky, reliable, sane horse with no vices (buck, rear, kick, bolt). I am an intermediate rider with a good seat and soft hands - so a horse the requires a sensitive rider who knows her aids is fine. I am learning lower level dressage and looking for a mount to school, take lessons, go to some schooling shows, and trail ride.
I am retiring my 24 yo soon, so sad and am looking for a new mount to love.
With the current economy I am just not ready to spend the money to buy yet - unless an amazing offer come up, so am looking to lease for now. I do have the budget to provide an excellent home and care.
