UPDATED VIDEOS Gatchaman is a very Handsome 3 1/2 yo Oldenburg Gelding. He is inspected and branded. He is a rich dark brown. With his hind white socks and white facial markings, he is very Handsome, which is also his barn name. He is approaching 15.3h and has a substantial build. He was started in March, and has been working 3 times a week. He can work quietly on the lunge line with full tack and side reins. He rides in a snaffle bit with spurs and does not need to be lunged first, even with a day off. His walk has very nice overstep. His trot is balanced and smooth, and he already shows steady self carriage. His canter is a relaxed hunter style with good hind end usage. He is starting pole work under saddle and very small jumps, with a tiny bit of canter. He very rarely spooks. We are no longer lunging prior to his rides, and he is starting to enjoy his workouts showing improvement with each ride. He is an all around athlete who has both jumping and dressage in his pedigree on both sides, and he is super cute.
He stands patiently for grooming and tacking, clips like a champ(ears and tummy included). He has been trailored by himself and with another horse and has been to one off site clinic ridden wonderfully by a professional. He has no health or soundness problems and does not require any special maintenance. He is current on all shots and worming and has had his teeth floated and wolf teeth removed. He has the best feet and he is currently wearing front shoes.
