Wonderful in every way! Rowan has a grace, presence and an absolute sweetheart temperament that make her a delight to handle and work with. She has proven herself calm and bold in new situations - settles quickly in new venues. Rowan earned a premium award at her inspection, the inspectors noted her beautiful head and neck, overall correctness, elegance and exceptional use of her hindquarters - she is elastic & rhythmic in her movement, with a notable trot and canter. Rowan is by Rosario, a Rubinstein son famed for his gaits and rideability - Rosario also demonstrated his strength and versatility by performing both in S level jumping and FEI dressage. Her dam is from the famed Trakehner line of Marduc, her sire Happy Hour was imported from Denmark, a son of Induc who was the Bundeschampionat as a 4 year old and received the highest evaluation marks on his rideability, trainability and movement, ranging from 9.0 – 10.0, and was ranked 6th in Germany out of all Trakehner and TB stallions with an outstanding Dressage Index of 146. Combined with her dam's beauty, talent & work ethic, Rowan is super FEI dressage prospect or ultra fancy hunter prospect for an amateur or professional. Should mature to about 16 hands with a medium bone – suitable for a smaller rider but with the frame to take up a longer leg without losing any elegance. Rowan has already been to shows, different environment and settles easily into new routines - often becomes the barn favorite wherever she is! Rowan has been lunged in tack/side reins as well as having a light adult sit on her - all with a fantastic attitude to being worked with. She is now on a winter break and she will be more then ready to start next spring - an excellent investment now before she is under saddle - Rosario offspring are highly valued for their gaits and rideability and not often for sale - Rowan already shows the promise to be a delight under saddle.
