Sophie is a Scimitar filly by thoroughbred mare. Graded Gold premium at RPSI inspection, 8.3 Conformation, 7.7 Movement. Shown in USEF Zone 3 hunter breeding divisions by her amateur owner. First 2009 Maryland hunter futurity, fillies. Professionally started. We expect lots of jump. Her half sister with no relation to Scimitar is "Quite serious about her jumping" quote from Patti Heuckeroth. Add the Scimitar's bloodlines of Silvio I which produced Shutterfly and we're expecting something really special.
As of 11/1 Sophie is just started under saddle. I am a bit dumbfounded on movement 7.7 grade from the inspection and placement behind all the colts and geldings at hunter breeding shows. To me this filly has the conformation (as graded), the pointy walk those dressage folks always want and the trot is the classic daisy cutter. It's sexist. Go girls! |
