Rhyley is a gorgeous 4 year old gelding. He has a very sweet personality and works to please. He doesn't have much training on him, but I'll be riding him almost daily throughout the winter until someone buys him. When I broke Rhye, he was very skiddish but trusting. He can move like he's floating on air. He loves to jump, and I plan on taking him on a couple hunts this fall. He needs an experianced rider that has a lot of confidence. Like I said, he is trusting but he needs a rider to help him feel confident in himself. He is like a wonderful big baby in a beautiful package. He loves going outside and riding long trails. I haven't had much trouble with him. He has excellent ground manners. We are working on him getting accustomed to clippers, we just haven't yet because we haven't wanted to cut any of his hair. *UPDATE* 10-29-09 I've ridden Rhyley for a week and a half now and he went down the road just fine, didn't shy at dogs, cars or motorcycles. He is fine with quads and farm equipment. He trailers okay, needs more practice but he is calm. He doesn't know what clippers are because we loved his curly hair! He has been great, responding well to leg and voice ques, even cantering without any issues. His mouth is nice and soft and I can ride him in a simple D-ring. |
