Tellurian is a 15.2 hand Half-Arabian Gelding (Arabian/Oldenburg), registered with AHA, Oldenburg NA and American Trakahner Association. He is a bright bay with two hind white socks and a star. He was born in May 2000. Lifetime registration for both the USDF and USEF.
Tellurian is competitive on both the open and breed circuits with regional reserve and championship wins from First Level through Prix St. Georges. He also has three SHUS regional championships, one reserve, and one “Top Five” at the regional level. He was shown at Sport Horse Nationals in 2007 and went “Top Ten” at both Second and Third Levels. 2009 was his first full year showing Prix St George, and his scores at Open shows ranged from 60% to 68%. He earned “Top Ten” at the 2009 Sport Horse Nationals at Fourth Level and Prix St George. In both classes he was fourth overall. In 2008, he was the USEF National Champion from Second to Fourth Levels.
Tellurian has excellent ground manners and solid work ethic. He is suitable for an amateur and could be a solid competitor for a junior/young rider. His flying changes are confirmed through two tempis, and the one tempis are well started. He shows great talent for piaffe and passage. His lateral work is exemplary, and he exhibits powerful medium and extended gaits. Tellurian also enjoys trail rides alone or in company. He loads, clips, ties and stands well for farrier and vet.
