Sahara is a three and a half year old Canadian Sport Horse mare. In training with a professional trainer. This young mare is doing walk/trot/canter under saddle, with some lateral work, and has jumped small courses. Shows good ability to get down the lines with lovely tight knees over the fence.Schooling changes. Trainer feels she shows promise for 3 foot hunters. Would especially suite a junior who is coming off a pony, and wants a talanted young horse to bring along.
Slow to mature, currently just15.2 should mature to 15.3hh+. Please Note:Rider in the undersaddle photo is is 6'2"!!
Pretty and refined young mare, with a lovely flat kneed trot.
Dam is a TB mare inspected with Canadian Sport horse, scored an over all 7.5 as an 11 year old. She received an 8 for her trot, very nice for a middle aged TB mare right out of the field! Sire is Sempatico M who was 100 day tested in Europe prior to being imported to the USA
Her dam was smaller than Sahara as a 4 yr old, and matured to 16hh+ ..measured at her CSHA inspection. We expect Sahara to follow the same pattern and mature 15.3-16hhh at 5 or 6 years old.
